Safer Sport Australia Expands Emergency Care in Sport Courses to Regional Areas in 2026

Safer Sport Australia is pleased to announce that in 2026, the Emergency Care in Sport course will be delivered beyond capital cities, bringing vital training to regional communities across the country.

The initial rollout will focus on regional New South Wales, with courses scheduled in Wagga Wagga, Albury, Port Macquarie, and Newcastle. These locations have been identified as key hubs for sporting activity and community engagement, and Safer Sport Australia is committed to supporting local sports professionals, volunteers, and first responders with quality emergency care education.

Looking ahead, additional courses are being planned for regional areas in Victoria and Queensland, ensuring broader access to this essential training.

In addition to scheduled locations, Safer Sport Australia welcomes expressions of interest from communities across regional Australia. If your area would benefit from hosting an Emergency Care in Sport course, we encourage you to contact us for a course proposal tailored to your local needs.

Together, we can make sport safer everywhere.
